• We should obey God at all times
The Prophet directed the woman to borrow as many jars as she could find, close the door after her children and herself, fill the jars with oil and then sell them. I am positive that she realized that the prophet’s instructions were from God so; she obeyed them from top to bottom. And the result was that she became appreciably well-off, and her children were delivered from servitude forever. The sequence of events that took place in their lives, confirms what is written in Isaiah 1:19, i.e.: ”If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land”. The woman was willing and obedient, and she ate the good of her land. If you are willing and obedient, you too will eat the good of your land, and you will do well in life in Jesus name, amen.
