About God (14)

A person is said to be powerful in a particular field or thing, if he or she is very strong, matchless, or outstanding in it, and the world is/was full of such men and women. Examples include: Nelson Mandela, who was powerful in the field of Human Rights and Dignity, Abraham Lincoln (Politics), William Shakespeare (Literature), Pythagoras (Mathematics), Isaac Newton (Physics), Michael Faraday (Chemistry), Ronald Ross (Medicine), Lord Denning (Law), Adam Smith (Economics), Michael Jackson (Music), and Mohammed Ali (Sports). These personalities are/were powerful in their chosen fields, but none of them is powerful in any field outside theirs. That means they are/were restricted in their powerfulness.

But God is not restricted in anyway, i.e., He is powerful in all fields at the same time. That is why He is called the All-Powerful God. For example, He is powerful in Medicine; He performed the first surgical operation in history (Genesis 2:21), and He is adept at healing all diseases (Exodus 15:26). He is also powerful in Law; He formulated the Ten Commandments (Deuteronomy 5:6-22), which form the foundation of all earthly laws to date. He is powerful in agriculture; He owns all the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and He is powerful at executing wars (Psalm 24:8), etc. You can count on Him at all times to help you out of any untoward situation you might find yourself, and you will not be disappointed.
