I Can’t Take That Chance!

I heard about this man who was on vacation in Jerusalem with his family when his mother in-law suddenly died. After the initial outburst of grieving from a particular section of the family, he went out to make arrangements to sort out her body.  One official of his country’s embassy told him that it would cost $5000 to ship her back home, and $250 to bury her in Jerusalem. The man thought about the options before him, and within minutes, he said he would like her shipped back home. The following conversation subsequently ensued between the embassy official and the man:

Embassy official: Wow! You must have really loved your mother in law to be willing to part with such a huge amount of money to ship her back home instead of burying her cheaply in Jerusalem.

Man: No, not really like that! I just remember that a great man once died, and was buried right here in Jerusalem. I understand that He rose up the third day; I can’t take that chance!

*Attention please: This joke is only meant to brighten your day; it has nothing to do with religion. Thank you.
