Luke 8:22-Go Over to the Other Side (2)

  • Peace

Peace, is one of the foremost benefits that comes with consenting to ‘Go Over to the Other Side’, where Jesus reigns.  In Luke 8:22-24, Jesus and His disciples launched out in a boat, with the aim of crossing over to the other side of the lake, ostensibly to rest.  After a while, Jesus fell asleep and a windstorm, which threatened their lives, came down forcefully on the lake.  And the disciples became so afraid, that they had to abort Jesus’ well deserved sleep lest, they perished.  Then with confidence, He arose and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water. And they ceased, and there was a great calm (peace) all around them afterwards.

This same Jesus, who happens to be the Prince of peace (Isaiah 9:6) is alive and willing to rebuke all the storms and upheavals in your life at the moment, and then, give you peace instead (John 14:27).  However, you have to ask Him to help you first and you can be rest assured that, He will not spurn you (John 6:37).  Please do not dither, make the move, right now, in Jesus name.  Amen.
