The Unlimited God

In Jeremiah 32:27, the bible says: “Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh; is anything too difficult for Me?”.

Above is a very famous bible passage in which, God reiterates His unwavering capacity to do all things with ease and this is made possible, because of the exclusive power that He wields (Psalm 62:11).

Now, if you look at the world very closely, you’ll discover that several people are/were very brilliant in their respective fields and they wield immense power as a result.  Nelson Mandela is one of them!  He is very brilliant in the field of Human Rights, Dignity and Justice.  William Shakespeare was very brilliant in Literature.  Others include: Isaac Newton (Physics), Michael Faraday (Chemistry), Archimedes (Mathematics), Adam Smith (Economics), Roland Ross (Medicine), Mohammed Ali (Sports), etc.  No doubt, they are/were great folks but as brilliant as they are/were, none of them can/could boast of being OK, not to talk of being brilliant in any field besides theirs.  That in effect, demonstrates that they are/were limited like other people.

But the story is quite different with God, because He is very brilliant in all fields at the same time.  For example, He is very brilliant in Medicine (Exodus 15:26).  He is equally brilliant in Law; remember that He crafted the Ten Commandments (Deuteronomy 5:6-22) which form the basis of all earthly laws.  He is brilliant in Engineering as evidenced by His great work of creating our complex world (Genesis 1:1).  In the field of Agriculture, He owns all the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10) and in Military; He is mighty in battle (Psalm 24:8).  He is also a consuming fire (Hebrews 12:29). Because of His overall brilliance, He wields so much power that He can afford to do what He likes, when He likes, how He likes and where He likes (Psalm 115:3).  And believe me; no one can restrain Him (Job 42:2).  That means He is Unlimited, unlike us.

This God is still as powerful as He used to be (Malachi 3:6) and He wants to demonstrate His immense power in people’s lives; including yours (Isaiah 41:10).  He wants to bless you (Deuteronomy 28:8), keep you free of diseases (Exodus 15:26) and fight your battles for you (Isaiah 49: 25-26) henceforth.  Besides, He wants to give you a break from your hassles (Matthew 11:28) and eternal rest in Heaven when your race on earth is finished (John 14:2-3).

Friend, are you ready for Him today? If you are then, you must be prepared to satisfy some conditions to begin with.  Firstly, you must be born again i.e., you must allow Jesus Christ to become your personal Lord and Saviour.  Except you do this, you stand no chance of being blessed by Him (Mark 7:27) or of attaining Heaven in the end (John 3:3).  It is also very instructive that you walk before God blameless (Genesis 17:1-2) and fortify yourself with His words (Joshua 1:8) and exhibit absolute faith in Him time after time (Hebrews 11:6).   Finally, pray to Him regarding what you want Him to do for you right now and if you are already doing so, please don’t stop (1 Thessalonians 5:17).

If you satisfy all these conditions plus others counselled in the bible, then the Unlimited God, our God, will bless you beyond your imagination (1 Corinthians 2:9) and your joy will be full in Jesus name.  Amen.

Jesus is Lord!
